What, Who and Why?​

Performance Marketing is something a lot of marketers have learnt but never really worked on it hands-on. There are a lot of nuances that people are either not aware of or miss out on. Most founders, growth operators and marketers have a lot of questions that look something like these:

    1. Do we build a team and do this in-house or outsource it to an agency?
    2. How do I improve my ROAS, CAC/LTV?
    3. What's not working for me: My offer, creative, copy or targeting? How do I effectively A/B test without spending significant time and resources?
    4. My competitors have higher budgets than I do, how do I stand out


At this point, most people understand the basics well, yet they don't really understand how to scale. Inviting someone from a leading performance marketing agency or someone who has managed performance for D2C brands would be extremely helpful to cover things at an intermediate level.

The event would essentially have relevant case studies and related discussions, some mini exercises (done in smaller groups), QnA and networking if time allows.

    • October marks the beginning of all the festivities one after another and a lot of D2C brands often run sales and offers during this period. It would be quite helpful for them to up their game.

Additional Notes:

  • After getting +ve feedback on these events, we can essentially open it up for non-members (+1s).
    • Most of the relevant people in my network in Mumbai hadn't heard of GrowthX. There's good talent but no thriving ecosystem like in Bangalore. We can potentially find future members with such events.
    • It would be an opportunity to establish strong online and offline presence in Mumbai.
  • Depending on the response, we can eventually increase the event capacity and create unique IPs such as "GX Experience" a half or one day event at a larger scale with multiple side events, learning sessions, mixers etc.
